Drumstick Leaves Chapathi and Semebadane Palya 
Drumstick leaves chapathi

  • Drumstick leaves- 1 cup 
  • Whole  wheat flour-2 cup's
  • Turmeric Powder-1/4 th tsp 
  • Ajwain/Carom seeds-1/4 th tsp 
  • Chilly powder-1 tsp 
  • Oil-2 tsp 
  • Water as needed to prepare a soft dough 
  • salt to taste.


Method
Wash the drumstick leaves well .

In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder , ajwain,  drumstick leaves , oil , water n  prepare a soft dough ..keep aside for 20 mts.

Divide the dough into equal lemon sized balls . 
  
Heat a tawa n bail out chapathis n cook on both sides until brown spot appear .

Serve Hot .
Semebadane Palya 


  • Semebadane / Chayote squash- 2 
  • Oil- 2 tsp 
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Urid dhal- 1 tsp 
  • Chana Dhal-1 tsp 
  • Green chillies- 3 
  • Curry leaves- 1 sprig 
  • Coriander leaves chopped - 3 tsp
  • Grated coconut- 4 tsp 
  • Lime juice- 1 tsp 
  • Salt to taste .

Method

Wash n chop semebadane to 1/2 inch pieces.

In a kadai add oil n splutter mustard seeds, add urid chana dhal n fry for a minute. Add curry leaves, chopped green chillies n fry again for a minute . Add chopped semebadane along with water n salt .cook till done . Add grated coconut n coriander leaves. switch off and add lime juice .
