Nela Basale / Bomabi Vaali Dhal 

  • Nela Basale/Bombai Vaali - 1 bunch , chopped 
  • Thur Dhal - 1/2 cup 
  • Turmeric powder -1/4 th tsp 
  • Tomato - 1 , chopped 
  • Ginger , 1 inch , finely chopped 
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp 
  • Hing /Asafoetida -2 pinch 
  • Green chilly - 2 chopped 
  • Salt to taste .


Seasoning

  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp 
  • Crushed garlic flakes - 4 to 6 
  • Onion -1 . chopped 
  • Dry red chilly - 2, broken 


Method 
Wash n pressure cook thur dhal along with turmeric powder . cool n churn it 

Pressure cook chopped nela basale , chopped tomato , cumin seeds , chopped green chilly , chopped ginger ,hing for just 1 whistle , 

In a kadai add oil . splutter mustard seeds, add crushed garlic n roast till brown , add chopped onion n roast till pinkish red, add torn dry red chilly n stir for few seconds , Add the cooked stuffs along with salt n boil .
