Ponsa /Jackfruit Appo 

  • Raw Rice -1 cup 
  • Grated coconut -1 cup 
  • Jackfruit segments - 12 10 15 
  • Jaggery -1/2 cup 
  • Salt to tatse 
  • Ghee to roast 


Method 
Soak raw rice for about 2 to 3 hours .

Chop the jack fruit segments .

Grind raw rice, grated coconut to a semi coarse paste , Add jackfruit chopped along wth jaggery n grind again . Dont add water while grinding as the batter has to be thick .  Remove n add salt . Mix well . 

Heat a paddu /Appe pan  , add little ghee in each mould n then pour a tsp or two of the above ground batter , cover n cook on sim flame , adding ghee at the edges till crisp .on both sides . 

Serve hot with Butter n any dip of one's choice .
