Chilly garlic Phova with filter coffee !
- Beaten Rice/Thin Phova /Paper Avalakki - 2 cups
- Oil - 3 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Green chilles chopped - 2 or according to the taste
- Garlic flakes- 4 to 5
- Curry leaves- 2 sprigs
- Groundnuts- 3 tsp
- Cashewnuts - a few
- Puttani/ Roasted gram - 3 tsp
- Chilly powder-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 th tsp
- Salt to taste
In a kadai add oil , Mustard seeds, once sputters , add crushed garlic , chopped green chilles, curry leaves, groundnuts,Roasted gram n fry for few minutes n then add chilly powder , turmeric powder n salt .. fry for a minute .Add beaten rice n fry till crisp !
