Bottle Gourd Halwa with Jaggery
- Bottle Gourd- 1
- Jaggery grated - 3/ 4 th cup or according to the sweetness .
- Ghee - 4 tsp for adding to halwa n 2 tsp for frying cashew nuts and Raisins
- Cashew nuts - a few
- Raisins- a few
- Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp

Wash. peel and grate the Bottle gourd ...
In a nonstick pan add the grated bottlegourd , grated jaggery and stir well continiously , add ghee and stir again till all the water evaporates and its cooked . switch off .
In a pan add oil and fry cashewnuts , raisins n add this to the halwa n garnish with cardamom powder .
