Navane ( Foxtail Millet ) Dosa
- Navane / Foxtail Millet -3 cups
- Urad dhal -1 cup
- Menthya/Fenugreek seeds -1 tbsp
Method
Wash foxtail millet .
Wash urad dhal n fenugreek seeds .
Soak foxtail millet separately for 4 hours .
Soak urad dhal with fenugreek seeds separately for 4 hours.
Grind both separately to a smooth batter. Then mix both the batter well n then add salt.
Ferment the batter overnight .
Heat a tawa, pour a ladle full of batter and spread it in a circular motion. Drizzle little oil at the edges n cook till done .
Serve Hot with sambar/chutney/chutney powder .

Note - This dosa has to be eaten hot n when cold makes it tasteless .
