Tomato Mint Rice
- Rice- 1 cup
- Water-2 cups
- Tomatoes-3 meduim
- Onion -1
- Mint Leaves- 1 fist
- Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder-1 tsp (according to the spice )
- Garam Masala Powder-1 tsp
- Cloves- 4
- Cinnamon -1 stick
- Oil/Ghee -2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method
Wash rice
In a pressure cooker add oil/Ghee add in cloves , Cinnamon ,finely chopped onions..fry till transparent ,then add Ginger garlic paste fry for a minute ,add in chopped tomatoes n fry till the raw smell goes , then add the roughly chopped mint leaves . Add all the powders , washed rice, water and salt ! cook for 2 or 3 whistle .
Serve with Raitha .
