Lemon Dhal
- Yellow split moong dhal- 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder- 2 pinch
- Green chillies- 2 or according to the spice
- Lemon - 1
- Salt to taste
Seasoning
- Oil/ghee- 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chillies- 2
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
- Hing/Asafoetida - generous pinch
Garnish
- Chopped coriander leaves .
Method
Slit green chillies.
Wash moong dhal n pressure cook it along with turmeric powder ... cool n mash it .
To the cooked dhal, add slit green chillies , salt n boil well .Switch off and add in lime juice . Give the seasoning n garnish .
