Tomato Paratha
- Ripe Red Tomatoes - 3 Medium
- Wheat flour- 1 cup
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Cumin Seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 1/4 th tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste- 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method
Finely chop Onion .
Chop Tomatoes .
Add oil in a kadai, splutter cumin seeds n then add finely chopped onion n fry for about 3 minutes , then add chopped tomatoes n fry till its cooked well n its mushy .Add ginger garlic paste n cook for a minute , add all the powders along with salt n mix well ... allow to cool.
In a bowl add wheat flour n cooled above mix n knead well to a soft dough . Keep aside for 20 minutes.
Knead again n prepare equal sized balls of the dough n bail out the paratha .
Heat a tawa n place the paratha n cook on both sides till done .. drizzle some oil/ghee while frying the paratha .
Serve hot with Raitha/curd/pickle .
