Brinjal Masala
Method
Wash n chop the brinjal's to 2 inch pieces . Put in water for sometime .
In a kadai add oil, splutter mustard seeds n then add chopped onion n cook till pinkish red . Add chopped tomato n cook till mushy , Add all the powders n stir for a while n then add chopped brinjal ,little water,salt n cook till done .
- Brinjal ...4 ( i used purple long ones N Green long ones )
- Oil..1 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds ..1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds ..1/4 th tsp
- Onion..1 ( chopped )
- Tomato..1 ( chopped )
- Turmeric powder ..1/4 th tsp
- Red chilly Powder..1 tsp
- Coriander Powder ..1 tsp
- Cumin powder ..1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder ..1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves chopped ..2 tsp
- Salt to taste .
