White Rice, Maanji Alle Piyava Ghassi , Mackerels n  Pomfret Rawa fries 

 Maanji Alle Piyava Ghassi ( Pomfret Ginger onion in coconut based gravy )

  • Pomfret-2 
  • Grated coconut-1 cup
  • Roasted dry red chillies- 4 to 6 
  • Tamarind- Tamarind seed size 
  • Onion chopped -1 
  • Ginger chopped- 1 tsp 
  • Green chillies chopped - 2 
  • Coconut oil-2tsp 
  • Salt to taste 


Method 

Clean the pomfret , slice them ..keep aside

Grind grated coconut, roasted dry red chillies, tamarind to a fine paste .

Boil the ground paste along with chopped onion, ginger, green chillies n salt well . Add fish pieces n give a quick boil ...switch off and add coconut oil 

Raju /Mackerels /Bangude Rawa fries 
  • Mackerels /bangude- 3 
  • Red chilly powder- 1 tblsp 
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp 
  • Hing/Asafoetida - 2 pinch 
  • Rice flour - 1 tblsp  
  • Semolina /Rawa- 1 tblsp  
  • salt to taste 
  • Oil for deep frying 
Method 
Cut the mackerels n Clean them , slice them if huge , make some marks on it so that the masala coats well  
In a bowl add chilly powder , turmeric powder, hing, rice flour,  salt , add sliced  n cleaned mackerels in it ,mix well n keep aside for sometime .

  Keep aside for 1/2 an hour . 

Roll the marinated fish over rawa n deep fry in oil .

 
Manji Pomfret Rawa fries !
  • Pomfret /Maanji  - 1 
  • Red chilly powder- 2 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder- 1/4 th tsp
  • Asafoetida/Hing - 2 pinch 
  • Rice flour-3 tsp
  • Semolina /Rawa- 1 tblsp  
  • Salt to taste 

Method 
Clean the pomfret , slice them ..keep aside

In a bowl add chilly powder , turmeric powder, hing, rice flour,  salt , add sliced pomfret  n mix well .Keep aside for 1/2 an hour . 

Roll the marinated fish over rawa n deep fry in oil .
