Ukde seeth , Raja Phanna Upkari , Raju n Visonu Fries

Ukde seeth , Raja Phanna Upkari , Raju n Visonu Fries 
Raja Phanna Upkari /Mackerel  cooked in Spicy Gravy 
  • Raju /Mackerels, cleaned and cut ... 6 to 8 pieces .
  •  Coconut Oil ...1 tblsp 
  • Onions -2 huge 
  • Chilly Powder.. 1 tblsp 
  •  Tamarind -goose-berry size 
  • Salt to taste 

Method
In 1/4 th cup water soak tamarind for about 20 mts n Squeeze tamarind in the water n discard the tamarind n retain the water   

Chop onion finely 

In a kadai  add  oil. Add chopped onion's n fry till it turns  reddish brown . 

Add chilly powder n stir for few mts . 

Add the  tamarind extract  water ,salt n water .. bring to a boil .  Add mackerels n cook for few mts

 Raju /Mackerels /Bangude fries 
  • Mackerels /bangude- 3 
  • Red chilly powder- 1 tblsp 
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp 
  • Hing/Asafoetida - 2 pinch 
  • Rice flour - 1 tblsp  
  • salt to taste 
  • Oil for deep frying 
Method 
Cut the mackerels n Clean them , slice them if huge , make some marks on it so that the masala coats well  

In a bowl add red chilly powder, hing, turmeric powder n salt ... add the cleaned mackerels n keep aside for sometime .

Run the marinated mackerels in rice flour n deep fry on both sides till crisp !

 Visonu /Sheer fish fries !
  • Visonu /Sheer fish -  cleaned slant pieces..4 
  • Red chilly powder- 4 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp 
  • Hing/Asafoetida - generous pinch 
  • Rice flour - 3tsp 
  • salt to taste 
  • Oil for deep frying 
Method 
In a bowl add red chilly powder, hing, turmeric powder n salt ... add the cleaned sheer fish pieces  n keep aside for sometime .

Heat oil in a kadai .. run the marinated sheer fish /visonu  in rice flour n deep fry on both sides till crisp !
