Hitkida Avrekalu  Pulao /  De skinned Hyacinth Beans  Pulao
  • Hitkida Avrekalu /  De skinned Hyacinth Beans ..1 cup 
  • Raw Rice ..1 cup 
  • Water ..2 cup's 
  • Ghee ..1 tblsp 
  • Cloves ..4 
  • Cinamon ..1 inch piece 
  • Green Cardamom pod ..3 
  • Onion ..1 chopped 
  • Salt to taste 


To grind to a paste 
  • Mint leaves ..1 bunch 
  • Coriender leaves ..1/2 bunch 
  • Onion ..1 medium 
  • Garlic Cloves ..6
  • Ginger ..1 inch piece
  • Cloves ..3 
  • Cinamaom stick ..1/2 inch 
  • Green chilly ..3 


Method 
Peel Avrekalu n soak it in enough water for about 5 hours .Press each soaked seeds n remove the outer skin. 

Wash rice 

Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a paste . 

Add ghee in a pressure cooker , add Cloves, Cinnamon, cardamom  n fry for a minute . Add in  chopped onion n fry till transparent .Add ground paste n   fry till the raw smell goes. Now add the de skinned   avrekalu  fry till  the raw smell goes . Add rice n fry for a while , add water ,  salt n mix well ... pressure cook for 2 whistle .

Serve hot with raitha
