Vegetable Hakka Noodles

Vegetable Hakka Noodles

  •  Hakka Noodles ..1 packet 
  • Oil..2 tsp
  •  Salt .. 2 pinch 
  • Water ..as required to cook the noodles .
  • Carrot ..1 Medium
  • Beans ..100 gms
  • Cabbage .. 100 gms
  •  Capsicum ..1
  • Onion ..1
  • Garlic Flakes ..6 to 8
  • Dry Red Chilly ..3 broken ( can use Green chilly chopped too instead of  Dry red chilly )
  • Oil .. 1 tblsp
  • Vinegar ..1/2  or 1 tsp
  •  Soya Sauce ..1/2 or 1 tsp
  •  Spring Onion green's chopped ..1 tblsp
  •  Pepper Powder..1/4 th  tsp n adjust according to the spice one requires .
  • Salt to taste


 Method 
 In a large vessel boil enough water , add salt n oil .. now drop the Hakka Noodles n cook for about 10 mts ..till soft but not mushy ... Transfer it into to a colander n add running water ... let it drain well ... n set aside .. ( or just cook  according to the instruction  on the back of the pack ) 

Wash all the vegetables n thinly slice onion , Carrot, cabbage, Capsicum n Beans too but remove the seeds if any . Finely chop garlic flakes n Chop the spring onions roughly . 

In a kadai add oil n add the thinly sliced onion n fry till pinkish red .. Add finely chopped garlic flakes n torn dry red chilly n fry for sometime ..add all the sliced vegetables , cover n cook till soft but not mushy .. add  chopped spring onion greens  n just stir for few mts . Add  soya sauce  n salt ..mix well n then add the cooked noodles ,vinegar , pepper powder n toss well . 

Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup 

Note : Adjust  the sauce ,Vinegar n pepper powder according to the taste one desire .
