Gardudde Khadi/Bottle Gourd Burfi
- Bottle gourd ...1 medium , peel , remove the seeds n grate it ..comes around 21/4 th cup's
- Sugar.. 1 1/2 cup's
- Cardamom Powder ...1 tsp
- Ghee to grease ...
Method
In a thick bottomed kadai , add grated bottle gourd , sugar n cook it . stirring continuously on a very low flame, till all the moisture gets evaporated n it becomes a thick lump . Switch off and add cardamom powder.Mix well .
Grease a plate, and add the mixture on it n spread it with backside of the spoon ... Grease the backside of the spoon too .
Allow the mixture to cool for some time n cut it to desired shape .
Looks delicious. Did you add any colour or that is the natural colour?
