Little Millet Flour Murukku /Same Akki Hittina Chakli 

  • Little Millet Flour /Same Akki Hittu .. 1 cup
  •  Water ..1 cup 
  • Ajwain /Carom seeds ...1 tsp 
  • Red chilly powder ..1 tsp 
  • Oil..2 tsp 
  •  Hurikadale Powder  / Roasted Gram Powder  ... 1 tblsp ( i made powder of whole roasted gram  in the mixer )  
  • Salt to taste 
  • Oil to deep fry 


Method
 In a kadai add water n boil it well . Add oil  ajwain ,chilly powder n salt . Switch off and add the little millet flour n roasted gram flour ..Mix well ... Remove it grease hands n knead well the dough 

..Grease the murukku  mould n  Place a small portion of dough inside it  and press the dough  in a circular motion . 


Heat oil in a kadai, gentle add the pressed muruku in hot oil 3 to 4 at a time n fry on medium flame, cook for few seconds n then flip over to another side . Fry on both sides till golden brown .

 Remove on tissue paper to drain off excess oil..  

Repeat the process for the rest of the dough. Store in air tight container .
