Harve Popaishphala Amso Kocholu /Raw Papaya Cooked in Coconut based masala.
- Raw Papaya ... skinned , removed seeds n chopped into 2 inch cubes ...2 cups ( usually this is sliced thinly to 2 inch pieces n hence the amchi name as kocholu , but i made it to cubical cut's )
- Grated coconut ..1 cup
- Roasted dry red chilly ... 5
- Tamarind ...Tamarind seed size
- Salt to taste
Seasoning
- Oil..2 tsp
- Crushed Garlic flakes ... 8
Method
Boil the chopped papaya pieces in little water till cooked n not mushy . Grind grated coconut, roasted dry red chilly n tamarind to a fine paste .. Add this ground paste to the cooked raw papaya pieces n boil well n then season
