Beans Upkari/Beans Stir fry
- Tender French Beans- 1/4 th kg
- Oil- 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Dry red chillies- 3 or according to the taste .
- Grated coconut- 1 tblsp
- Salt to taste
Method
Wash Beans n Chop Beans
In a kadai add oil, splutter mustard seeds n add torn dry red chillies , add the chopped vegetable n then little water along with salt . Cover n cook till done ..Add grated coconut , mix well .
Birinda Saaru /Dried Kokam Petals Plain Rasam
- Birinda Sola /Dried Kokam Petals ..1 fist
- Green chilles ... 2 slit
- Jaggery... Gooseberry size
- Salt to taste
Seasoning
- Oil ...1 tsp
- Mustard seeds ..1/2 tsp
- Urid dhal...1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves ..1 sprig
- Dry red chilly ...2 broken
- Coriander leaves .. 2 tsp chopped
Method
Wash the Dried kokam Petal to remove dirt n soak it in enough water for about 1/2 an hour , Boil this well along with slit green chilly n jaggery ... Add salt , then season n later garnish
Bhindi /Ladies finger Tawa Fries
- Tender Fresh Ladies Finger /Bhindi ... 10
- Red chilly Powder.. 1 tsp
- Hing /Asafoetida ...2 pinch
- Turmeric powder ..1/4 th tsp
- Rice flour ... 1 tblsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil ... a little to shallow fry
Method
Wash the tender bhindi , pat it dry .. chop the top n end part's , Then make a slit in between ...keep aside ...
In a bowl red chilly powder , hing, turmeric powder n salt n mix well add the Slit whole Ladies finger , mix well so that the masala coats well ..Sprinkle little water n set aside for a while ...
Heat a dosa tawa , drizzle oil n run the marinated bhindi over rice flour n place it side by side n roast on both sides till crisp
