Lasooni Dhal Tadka
- Thur Dhal ..1 cup
- Water .. 2-1/2 to 3 cups
- Onion...1
- Tomato...1
- Garlic...4 cloves
- Turmeric powder..1/4 th tsp
- Green chilly ...2
- Salt to taste
- Ghee...2 tsp
- Cumin seeds ..1/2 tsp
- Garlic cloves chopped ...2 tsp
- Red chilly powder..1/2 tsp
Garnishing
- Coriander leaves
Method
Wash thur dhal and soak it for 20 minutes in enough water.Chop onions , tomatoes , Green chilly n garlic cloves
Pressure cook soaked dhal , chopped vegetables n turmeric powder adding water ... once cooked ,cool n churn it ... Add salt .
In a small pan, melt ghee then add cumin seeds and when they slightly change color, add the chopped garlic cloves n fry well till brownish , switch off the flame n then add red chilly powder and mix. pour this seasoning to the cooked dhal mixture n garnish .
Serve hot with a bowl of rice
