Navane / Foxtail Millet Dosa


 Navane / Foxtail Millet Dosa
  • Navane / Foxtail Millet -3 cups
  • Urad dhal -1 cup
  • Menthya/Fenugreek seeds -1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method
Wash n Soak foxtail millet separately for 4 hours . 

Soak urad dhal with fenugreek seeds separately for 4 hours.

Grind both separately to a smooth batter. Then mix both the batter well n then add salt.

Ferment the batter overnight . 

Heat a tawa, pour a ladle full of batter and spread it in a circular motion. Drizzle little oil at the edges n cook till done . 

Serve Hot with sambar/chutney/chutney powder .


Note - This dosa has to be eaten hot n when cold makes it tasteless .
