Little Millet/ Same Akki Tomato Baath with Hingwala Kadak Tadka Raitha
- Little Millet/ Same Akki...1 cup
- Water 1-3/4 th cup
- Ghee ..2 tsp
- Cinnamon stick..1/2 inch piece
- cloves ..3 or 4
- Whole cardamom with skin..2
- Onion chopped ..1
- Ginger Garlic Paste ..1 tsp
- Tomatoes ...3 huge chopped
- Red chilly powder..1/2 tsp
- Garam Masla powder..1/2 tsp
- Pav Bhaji Masala ..2 tsp
- Turmeric powder..1/4 th tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves ... few for garnishing
- Salt to taste
Method
In a kadai add the little millet n dry roast it , not too much just warm is enough .... this roasting aids in grain grain n not mushy baath .... cool it n wash it with water as to remove dirt n stones if any ....
in a pressure cooker add ghee then add Cinnamon stick,cloves ,whole cardamom n fry for a while ....then add chopped onion n fry till transparent , add ginger garlic paste n fry it ... then add chopped tomatoes n cook till mushy n raw smell goes ...add all the masala ,add the washed little millet n fry for a while , add water ,chopped coriander leaves , salt n mix well n pressure cook for 3 whistle .
Hingwala Kadak Tadka Raitha
- Curds ..1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Oil ..1 tsp
- Mustard seeds ..1/2 tsp
- Hing /Asafoetida ...2 pinch
Method
Chun the curds to it add salt n then season it,,,
