Little Millet Idly /Same Akki Idly 

  • Little Millet  /Same Akki ..2 Cup's
  •  Urid dhal..1 cup 
  • Thin Phova/Thin Beaten Rice ...1 fist 
  • Methi/Fenugreek seeds ...1/2 tsp
  •  Salt to taste . 

 Soak the urid dhal n fenugreek seeds for about 3 to 4 hours ...

Wash n soak little millet for about 4 hours . 

Grind urid dhal fenugreek seeds n thin phova ( washed n previously soaked for about 10 mts in little water ) to a fine paste n when about to remove the batter ,add the soaked drained little millet n grind for few seconds  not to a fine but rawa consistency .. Remove the batter , add salt n ferment overnight.

  Heat a steamer , grease idly mould n pour the batter in it n steam it for about 15 to 20 mts .

Serve hot with sambar/Chutney
