Little Millet Appo /Same Akki Paddu with innovative Kempu Chutney

  •  Little Millet ..1-1/2 cup's 
  • Urid Dhal.. 1/2 cup 
  • Chana Dhal.. 2 tsp 
  • Methi /Fenugreek seeds ...1 tsp
  •  Salt to taste


 Method 

Wash n soak all the ingredients for 3 to 4 hours n grind to a fine batter ... Ferment overnight .

Next day morning add salt to the fermented batter .Mix well.  Heat the appe pan , add  a few drops of oil into each mould , then pour a  spoon full  batter into each mould , cover n cook on both sides . 



Innovative Kempu Chutney 

Grated coconut ...1/4 th cup
 Groundnuts ...2 tsp
 Dry red chilly ..2 or 3 
Coriander seeds ... 1 tsp
 Cumin seeds ..1/2 tsp
 Ginger ...1/2 inch piece 
Tamarind ... Tamarind seed size 
Hing/Asafoetida ..a pinch 
Salt to taste 

Method 
Grind all the above to a semi coarse paste n can season with Mustard n curry leaves but i did not ...
