Hitikida Avarekalu (de-skinned beans)Thove .

  • Avrekalu- 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Salt-1/2 tsp

For grinding
  • Hurikadale /roasted fried gram- 2 tsp
  • Grated coconut-1/2 cup
  • Green chilles-3 or according to the taste
  • Boiled Hitkida bele /deskinned avrekalu -2 tsp
  • Hing/Asafoetida- 2 pinch
  • Salt to taste

Seasoning
  • Oil-1 tsp
  • Dry red chilly-1
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves-1 sprig
  • Hing-a pinch

Method 
Peel Avrekalu n soak it in enough water for about 5 hours .Press each soaked seeds n remove the outer skin. Pressure cook it with cumin seeds and salt for 1 whistle

Grind Roasted gram, grated coconut , green chilles, just 2 tsp of boiled deskinned beans , hing n salt to a paste 

Add this ground paste to the cooked avrekalu n boil well n then give the seasoning .
