Mirani Khichdi !
- Thoor Dhal-3/4 th cup
- Masoor dhal-1/4 th cup
- Rice-1/2 cup
- Tomatoes -2
- Curry leaves-2 sprigs
- Red chilly powder-1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 th tsp
- Salt to taste
- oil-2 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
- Hing/Asafoetida-1/4 th tsp
- Sambar powder- 2 tsp
Garnishing
- Coriander leaves
Soak the rice n dhals for 1/2 an hour .
Pressure cook it for 2 whistle along with the tomatoes ,turmeric powder, red chilly powder n curry leaves .
Add salt n give the seasoning n mix well .
Garnish with coriander leaves .
Serve hot with masala papad n boondi raitha .
