Ponsa Bajo/Ripened Jackfruit Besan Fritters
- Ponsa Gharo/Ripened Jackfruit segment ..10
- Besan /Gram Flour ..1/4 th cup
- Red Chilly Powder ..1/2 tsp
- Hing/Asafoetida .. 2 pinch
- Salt to taste
- Water as required to prepare a thick batter of pouring consistency
- Oil to deep fry
Method
Slice the ripened jackfruit segment ..Keep aside In a bowl add besan, chilly powder, hing n salt ..mix well n then add just enough water ..mix well so that no lumps is formed ..
Heat oil in a kadai , dip the sliced ripened jackfruit in the batter n deep fry a few till cooked .
Serve with Melted Jaggery .
