Ponsa Bajo/Jackfruit Besan Fritters

Ponsa Bajo/Ripened Jackfruit Besan Fritters 
  • Ponsa Gharo/Ripened Jackfruit  segment ..10 
  • Besan /Gram Flour ..1/4 th cup
  • Red Chilly Powder ..1/2 tsp 
  • Hing/Asafoetida .. 2 pinch 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Water as required to prepare a thick batter of pouring consistency 
  • Oil to deep fry 


Method 
Slice the ripened jackfruit  segment ..Keep aside 

In a bowl add besan, chilly powder, hing n salt ..mix well n then add just enough water ..mix well so that no lumps is formed .. 

Heat oil in a kadai , dip the sliced ripened jackfruit in the batter n deep fry a few till cooked .

Serve with Melted Jaggery .
