Red Thingalavare with kadgi Koddel - Red Navy Beans  cooked in coconut based gravy with Raw Jackfruit 
  • Red Thingalavare /Red Navy Beans - 1/2  cup 
  • Raw Jack fruit pieces - 1 cup 

To grind 

  • Grated coconut- 2 cup's
  • Roasted dry red chillies- 7 to 9 
  • Tamarind- Tamarind seed size 
  • Salt to taste 
Seasoning 
  • Oil-2 tsp 
  • Crushed Garlic flakes - 8 t0 10

Method

Soak Red Thingalvare ( Red Navy  Bean ) for about 20 mts .

Wash the jack fruit pieces .

Pressure cook Red Thingalvare  /Red Navy  bean till cooked n not mushy   .

Pressure cook raw jackfruit pieces for 1 whistle adding little salt .

Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a fine paste .

Add the ground paste to the cooked stuffs n boil again . 

In a pan add oil n crushed garlic flakes n roast well till brownish red n pour this to the cooked gravy n mix well .
