Tri Color Capsicum Masala Rice Baath .

Tri Color Capsicum Masala Rice Baath 
  • Red , Green n Yellow Capsicum ... washed n sliced thinly, 2 cup's
  • Cooked Rice ..2 cup's ( i have used Sona Masuri rice )
  • Salt to taste 

To dry roast n prepare  Masala Powder
  •  Groundnuts--2 tbsp 
  •  Chana dal..1/2 tsp 
  •  Urad dal..1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds..1 tsp 
  • Cumin seeds ..1/2 tsp 
  • Sesame seeds / Thil..1 tsp 
  • Dry red chilly..4 /5 
Seasoing 
  • Ghee ..1 tblsp  
  • Mustard seeds ..1 tsp 
  • Curry leaves ..1 Sprig 
  •  Onion..1 
  • Turmeric Powder ..1/2 tsp 
  • Garam Masala ..1/2 tsp

Garnishing 
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped..2 tsp 
  • Lemon Juice ..2 tsp 
Method 
Dry roast   peanuts, take out  n peel the skin n set aside 

Then dry roast chana dhal, urad dhal, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and dry red chilly , cool n then coarsely powder dry roasted ingredients . 

Thinly slice Onion 

In a kadai add ghee  n splutter mustard seeds n add curry leaves then  add sliced onion n fry till it turns reddish  brown n add sliced tri coloured capsicum n cook till the capsicum's turn soft but not mushy as retain the crunchiness of the vegetable . Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder , dry roasted masala powder and salt ..stir for few seconds ... Add cooked rice n mix gently n cook for few mts ..Switch off and add chopped coriander leaves n lime juice ...Mix well .

Serve with Raitha
