Ukde Seeth, Katpadi bee bhendi adding Magge , Nendra bale/Kerala Banana Tawa Rawa Fries , Katpadi bee saar adding generous amount of Garlic Tadka n Ambuli Nonche .

Ukde Seeth, Katpadi bee bhendi adding Magge , Nendra bale/Kerala Banana Tawa Rawa Fries , Katpadi bee saar adding generous amount of Garlic Tadka n Ambuli Nonche .





Katpadi bee Bhendi adding magge/ Katpadi dried  Beans cooked  in Coconut Based Gravy adding Mangalore yellow Cucumber .


  • Katpadi bee - 1  cup 
  • Magge /Mangalore yellow cucumber chopped without skin  ..  1 cup 
To grind 
  • Grated coconut- 2 cup's
  • Roasted dry red chillies- 8 to 10  
  • Tamarind ..Tamarind seed size 
  • Salt to taste 
Seasoning 
  • Oil- 2 tsp
  • Crushed Garlic Flakes ...8 to 10 

Method

Soak katpadi bee for about 1/2 an hour  overnight.

Pressure cook Katpadi bee  , till cooked but not mushy  .( Retain the cooked water to prepare Plain Rasam )
.

In little water cook chopped Mangalore yellow cucumber till soft or pressure cook for 1 whistle .

Grind grated coconut,Roasted  dry red chillies n tamarind  to a fine paste .

Add the ground paste to the cooked stuffs, along with salt  n boil well.Then later give the seasoning

Nendrabale banana (Kerala Banana ) Tawa Rawa fries ! 
  • Kerala Banana- 2 
  • Red chilly powder- 2 tsp
  • Hing /asafoetida- 1/4 th tsp 
  • Rice flour - 4 tsp
  • Rawa/Semolina ..1 tblsp 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Oil as required to shallow fry 

Method
Wash  remove the skin n Slice the kerala banana lengthwise .

In a bowl ,add chilly powder,  hing, Rice flour , salt n  then add  sliced kerala banana ... n mix well ... keep for about  10 mts( sprinkle water only if needed ) 

Run the marinated sliced  banana with rawa  .
Heat a dosa tawa , add a tsp or 2  of oil n then place the rawa coated sliced banana side by side n shallow fry on both sides till done . 
Katpadi Bee Saaru /Plain Rasam 
  • Retained water of boiled katpadi bee ..2 cup's 
  • Salt to taste 
Seasoning for Saaru (Rasam) 
  • Oil-1 tsp 
  • Dry red chillies-  2 or 3
  • Crushed Garlic flakes - 6

Method for Saaru ( Rasam ) 
In a vessel add the cooked liquid along with salt ..  Boil it n later give the seasoning .
